POLANGUI COMMUNITY COLLEGE BENCHMARKS AT CBSUA-CEM FOR BS AGRIBUSINESS PROGRAM

To learn about the best practices, facilities, and curriculum of the BS in Agribusiness, the Polangui Community College visited Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-College of Economics and Management on July 19, 2023, for a benchmarking activity.

The visit began with an opening programme held at the CND hall. Administrator, Dr. Celerino Llesol, Jr., formally welcomed everyone in the benchmarking activity in his welcome speech. He expressed his gratitude for PCC for choosing CBSUA and hoped that the University will be able to satisfy their goals for the benchmarking activity. Present also in the event is the Dean of CEM, Dr. Gladys Rosales.

Program Chair of Agribusiness, Mr. Sonny Corporal, then led the discussion of the program’s curriculum and best practices. Moreover, an open forum took place. Faculty from PCC openly raised their questions and concerns regarding what have been discussed. Right after the program, the team visited the Complementary Food Processing Facility and benchmarked on the facilities and practices of the laboratory.

The PCC is immensely grateful to CBSUA-CEM for the opportunity and looks forward to a potential collaboration with CBSUA.
