The field visitation component of the Pantas Award Researcher Committee is a crucial aspect that enhances the integrity and effectiveness of the award selection process. To conduct thorough assessments of the nominated researchers’ work, validate their impact, understand the research context, ensure research integrity, and make well-informed decisions in selecting the most deserving awardee. By experiencing the researchers’ projects in their actual settings and engaging with stakeholders, the committee can make well-informed decisions and ultimately recognize those whose research has made significant contributions to society and aligned with the award’s core values.
In addition, the team paid courtesy visits to the OIC of the Office of the President Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Mark Jaypee C.
