Graduate school students of the Naga College Foundation, Inc., with their professor, Dr. Regina Valencia, visited CBSUA-College of Development Education for a benchmarking activity on Internationalization on July 21, 2022 at the CND Hall with the objective of capturing its practices and employing those in their own program. The activity was graced by the Dean of CDE, Dr. Raquel N. Reapor as expressed her gratitude to NCF for choosing CBSUA to be benchmarked by the institution and was seconded by the Campus Administrator, Dr. Celerino B. Llesol, Jr. who took pride that CBSUA now hosts benchmarking activities.
The activity then proceeded with the sharing of the program’s best practices on internationalization with Prof. Julie Amara M. Bondilles being the first speaker. As the International Relations Officer, she presented the university’s internationalization programs and activities, international achievements and awards received, and international linkages. To add what Prof. Bondilles presented, the second resource speaker, Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales, the CDE International Linkages Coordinator, shared Internationalization activities of CDE in the past few years starting from 2019 up to present.
An open forum was facilitated by Dr. Maria Carla Narcisa L. Baduya, the Chair of the Elementary Education Program, where questions and matters were raised which the resource speakers answered and discussed with the visitors comprehensively. The activity ended with the hopes of building future partnership between the two institutions.
