The Civil Service Commission Internal Audit Service (IAS) visited the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture on July 29, 2024, to evaluate the efficiency of operations and determine how the Commission’s regional office is implementing the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management.

The university is a PRIME-HRM Level II Compliant and was selected for review in its PRIME-HRM journey. Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, CBSUA PRIME University Chairperson, shared the university’s changes and improvements after implementing the program.

The Pillar Chairpersons also shared their team’s experiences and learning while bracing to champion the agency’s competencies, systems, and practices in four HR systems: (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and (4) rewards and recognition.

The IAS from the Commission included Atty. Hyacint Enriquez, Ms. Mylene N. Monton, Ms. Ma. Rosita G. Dupale, and Ms. Arianne D. Lopez. The sharing helps the audit team members from the CSC central office to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.

In his message, President Naperi, posed a continued challenge to the body to aim and prepare for the highest PRIME-HRM Level.
