CEM LEADS LECTURE ON TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION BEHAVIOR OF FARMERS

As a move to reinforce faculty and university researchers’ knowledge on research methodologies for agricultural and business studies, the CEM led a lecture series on ‘Unveiling Farmer Behavior: Understanding Decision-Making and Technology Adoption in Agricultural Systems” on January 15, 2024, at the CND Hall.

The College of Economics and Management tied up with the Research Division for this undertaking. This activity is paramount to a bigger end goal of understanding farmers’ technology adoption behavior and how such behavior affects their business performance, as agricultural productivity highly depends on these.

Professor Rene Villano of the University of New England was the invited resource speaker who divulged information about their research on farmers’ technology adoption behavior and how it affects farm business performance.
