The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) kick-started the new week on February 20, 2023, with a warm reception for four student-teachers from Benguet State University (BSU) during the Flag Raising Ceremony.
The intern exchange program was made possible through the Memorandum of Agreement signed last December 20, 2022, between the CBSUA College of Development Education and the BSU College of Teacher Education. The program aims to provide an opportunity for student-teachers to gain practical teaching experience in a different setting, and to learn from a diverse range of experiences.
The four student-teachers from BSU are Ben B. Gomez, Jr., specializing in Filipino; Brix Lambhert A. Yagyagen, specializing in Science; Jensen F. Paris, specializing in English; and Jhosua Leo T. Andaya, specializing in Mathematics. They were joined by the Dean of the College, Dr. Raquel Reapor; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ana MiraΓ±a; and Campus Administrator, Dr. Celerino Llesol, Jr. They also participated in the Zumba/Unity Dance facilitated by the CEM and CAS faculty, and students.
The said interns arrived in the University last Friday, February 17, 2023 and was also welcomed at the Laboratory High School as they are set to teach at the said department of CBSUA.
