CBSUA – QA HOSTS INTERNAL AUDITORS TRAINING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TUV RHEINLAND

As part of its ongoing commitment to improving the Integrated Management System, the university’s Quality Assurance Office, in partnership with TUV Rheinland, successfully conducted a two-day training session on Managing and Conducting Internal Audits as per ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines at CND Hall on September 5–6, 2024.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Jone Rechie Larase Gigayon, DPA, a distinguished trainer from TUV Rheinland, participants were immersed in the principles and practices of internal auditing. The program featured in-depth discussions on ISO standards, hands-on workshops, and interactive sessions that encouraged participants to apply what they learned in practical scenarios.

The training concluded with a synthesis presented by Mr. Rey-Mark G. Basagre and Ms. Joanna Marie B. Perez, offering a comprehensive overview of the key takeaways and lessons learned. This session underscored the training’s success in enhancing the participants’ ability to conduct internal audits proficiently, ensuring adherence to environmental and audit management standards.
