CBSUA-PASACAO CAMPUS AND DEPED PASACAO DISTRICT COLLABORATE IN ‘TULONG MO, DUNONG KO’ PROJECT

The Tulong Mo Dunong Ko (TMDK) Program MOA Signing was inked on July 25, 2023, by the University Officials and its collaborating agencies at the AVR of CBSUA Pasacao.

The University President was represented by Attorney Dominador Faurillo, the University Vice President for Administration and Finance, who spearheaded the ceremonial signing together with the TMDK proponents Dr. Divina Gracia R. Galang (ABLE), Assist Prof Ramon R. Monte (MATHJestic), Assistant Prof Joanna Marie B. Perez (READ), Assistant Professor Judith J. Aban (Science Pro) and Assistant Professor Jose M. Ibarrientos III (Tech-Educonnect).

The partner agencies in the elementary and secondary levels who attend the MOA Signing are as follows: Mr. Lorenzo Manago, the principal of Rolando Andaya High School, with Mrs. Divina P. Coruno; Mr. Paul Mark H. Juaton represents the Pasacao Municipal National High School principal; Mrs. Cecilia C. Nidea, the principal of Odicon Elementary school with Mrs. Tiffany G. Borre; Mr. Celedonio D. Llamado the principal of Bahay Elementary School; Mrs. Hermina C. Olitoquit, the representative of Balogo Elementary School principal; Mrs. Marivic Rabeje, a representative of Pasacao Central School principal.

Two barangay local government units have supported the literacy program. Hon. Ian Christopher B. de la Rosa is present during the event, the Punong Barangay of Sta Rosa del Norte, and Hon.Timothy Rey Joseph Imperial, the Committee on Education. Likewise present during the occasion is Hon. Cecilia B. Quiom, the Committee on Education representing the Punong Barangay of Balogo.

The Tulong mo Dunong ko Program has been the tagline extension activity of the CBSUA Pasacao’s College of Education since 2009, providing free tutorial services in literacy and numeracy skills to educationally challenged learners in schools and the community utilizing the sense of volunteerism among the college students and alums of CBSUA Pasacao.(Report from the CBSUA Pasacao PIO)
