To provide the students an equal access to employment opportunities, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture thru the Office for Student Affairs and Services- Job Placement Unit conducted the ‘UNIVERSITY JOB FAIR: Trabaho Para sa Gabos’ on 2 April 2019 at the Students’ Atrium.
Initiated by the Job Placement and PESO Unit of CBSUA in cooperation with the University Gender and Development Office (GAD) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the activity pursued for the graduating students of the University.
The Job Fair aimed to introduce the students to the phases and stages of employment process and acquaint them with the necessary information on effective career plans and decisions.
Experts and authorities served as resource speakers that oriented the participants on various gender issues and policies which can help them become competent and gender-sensitive professionals.
A total of 1,200 students and alumni participated in the activity.
