Through the supervision of the University Business Affairs Office, the new Entrepreneurial Development and Innovation Center (Market Center) of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, which features a variety of products from fresh produce, university-made products, locally-sourced produce to handmade crafts, opened on May 3, 2023.
A blessing ceremony was presided by the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Rolando Canonce. Present in the ceremony are the University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, the Vice Presidents, Directors of the OVPBEA, Deans, and faculty members of the different colleges.
All marketing initiatives for products created by the University and those resulting from partnerships with other stakeholders will be spearheaded by the Market Center. It will be regarded as a one-stop souvenir shop, displaying the goods from all the stakeholders. Moreover, the market center will promote the growth of income-generating projects that will help supplement the University budget.
The University invites everyone to visit and buy goods at the new market center.
