With a genuine desire of the university to answer the call of CHED that is to ensure quality in the delivery of education in the region, CBSUA signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Catanduanes State University on July 21, 2022 at the President’s Office of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), Nabua, Camarines Sur.
CatSU is a public higher education institution mandated to primarily provide advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction, and training in trade, commerce, fishery, agriculture, arts and sciences, industrial technology, nursing, midwifery, education, engineering, public administration, information technology, and other relevant fields of study. It is likewise mandated to undertake research and extension services and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
CBSUA and CatSU shall have programs, projects, and activities along Faculty and Student Exchange for Research and Study; Academic Consultations; Participation in Seminars and Academic Meetings; Extension Activities; Dissemination of Technologies generated through research; and other collaborations that are mutually beneficial to both Institutions.
The MOU Signing was led by CBSUA President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi and CatSU President Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza. The activity was also witnessed by the key officials of CBSUA and CatSU. This partnership was made possible through the Institutional Linkages and Special Projects (ILSPO), headed by Director Dr. Christopher B. Dacer under the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs headed by Vice President, Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba Sr. This partnership between CBSUA and CatSU was also made possible because of the effort exerted by CatSU’s Center for International Relations and Continuing Professional Development Services (CIRCPDS) under the supervision of its Director, Prof. Romeleen Go-Vela. | via Dr. Christopher Dacer
