CBSUA HOLDS PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION FOR STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through its Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs (OVPBEA), conducted a pre-departure orientation seminar on January 15, 2024, for Ms. Gwen Stefani Fabricante, a 3rd year BS in Agribusiness student who will be participating in an exciting study program at VIVES University of Applied Science in Belgium.

Ms. Fabricante is set to join the exchange program from February 1 to June 30, 2025, marking an important milestone in CBSUA’s commitment to providing quality education and international opportunities for its students. The orientation aimed to prepare Ms. Fabricante for her academic and cultural experience in Belgium, ensuring she is well-equipped for her upcoming journey.

Following the seminar, Ms. Fabricante, accompanied by her parents together with VPBEA Prof. Ceasar Armando S. Camba, Sr., Dr. Vladimir R. Foronda, ESD Director, Dr. Philip N. Talay, Dean of College of Economics and Management, and Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales, Asst. Director of International Quality Assurance, paid a courtesy call to CBSUA President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi. During the meeting, they discussed the significance of the exchange program and the university’s continuous efforts to support its students’ global learning opportunities. Dr. Naperi expressed pride in Ms. Gwen’s participation and wished her success in her academic endeavors abroad.

The ICP CONNECT Program is part of CBSUA’s broader initiative to enhance the global competitiveness of its students through international exposure, fostering educational growth, and strengthening ties with partner institutions worldwide.
