The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture received significant recognition in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) in multiple categories during the fourth Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities Conference hosted by the Franklin University in Switzerland on June 6-7, 2024.

CBSUA ranked 9th in Leadership (B1) category, ranked 60th in Social Responsibility (A6) category, and ranked 66th in Student Support and Engagement (A1) category.

In compliance with the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. 11448 or the “Transnational Higher Education Act”, CHED acknowledged the WURI being one of the three international ranking bodies, along with QS and Times Higher Education.

The WURI evaluates higher education institutions’ real contributions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and engagement. The entries went through a title-blind review process and ranked based on their “innovativeness, implementability, and impact.”

The inclusion of CBSUA in the WURI Ranking 2024 results from the collaborative efforts of various units and stakeholders of the institution under the leadership of Dr. Alberto N. Naperi.
