CBSUA CEM RECOGNIZED FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH

CBSUA’s College of Economics and Management, represented by Gladys G. Rosales, PhD, Director of Resource Generation, was awarded a Plaque of Appreciation for their extension program providing livelihood training and capacity building to the community of Barangay Kilantaao, Sangay, Camarines Sur April 10-11, 2024.

The program received support from various stakeholders and partner agencies such as the Department of Agriculture (DA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The Police Regional Office 5 validated the Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay Projects and Program by team Delta of Camarines Sur-First PMFC from August 16, 2023, to April 10, 2024. Validation happened on April 10–11, 2024, at Barangay Kilantaao, under Barangay Captain Paz Comprado’s supervision. Various local officials and organizations attended, including Sanggunian Kabataan ng Kilantaao, Daycare Teachers, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team, and others.

The validation team, led by PLTCOL Rogelyn C. Peratero and PMAJ. Archie L. Cristobal, concluded with a Summing Up Proper at the Office of Civil Defense Building in Barangay San Isidro. The event started at 3 p.m. with PCOL. Julius Caesar M.
