CBSUA-CEM PARTNERS WITH SIDECO, ZONTA CLUB FOR PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND SELF-EMPOWERMENT TRAINING

The CBSUA-College of Economics and Management organized a “Personality Development and Self-Empowerment” seminar together with the Social Development Incorporated Company (SIDECO) and the ZONTA Club of Naga City on June 11, 2024, at Aljosh Café, Diversion Road, Naga City.

This activity showcases a concerted endeavor to foster personal and professional growth among the participants from various SIDECO branches, highlighting a solid partnership with CBSUA through its College of Economics and Management (CEM). This seminar played a significant role in the CLEAR Project, signifying a strategic move toward enhancing individual capabilities within the community.

Dr. Gladys G. Rosales, Director of Resource Generation at CBSUA and the newly elected president of the ZONTA Club of Naga City, assumed the critical organizer’s role and delivered an inspiring speech during the event. Commencing the seminar, Dr. Rosales enriched the session with enlightening insights on self-empowerment drawn from her own life’s journey while encouraging participants to share their personal stories, fostering an atmosphere of mutual learning and inspiration.

A notable event segment featured Dr. Geraldine C. Alvina, Professor VI from Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST), who delivered an enriching lecture on “Empowerment through Personal Effectiveness.” Dr. Alvina’s discourse was filled with practical insights, shedding light on how the environment shapes our personalities, the significance of psychological empowerment in the workplace, and the crucial role of effective time management in achieving workplace efficiency.

The seminar ended with participants sharing impactful insights and learning collectively. Certificates were distributed to commemorate active participation and knowledge gained.
