His excellency, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Philippines Michel Parys, visited Central Bicol State University of Agriculture on February 10, 2023 to grace with his presence the Closing Program of the South Intensive Program 2023 sponsored by the Belgian province of Western Flanders and to speak at the Higher Education Institutions Convention and Gala Night.

Ambassador Parys was welcomed warmly by the whole CBSUA community. University President, Dr. Alberto Naperi and ESD Director, Dr. Vladimir Foronda, escorted the ambassador to the CBSUA Auditorium where he was greeted by the coaches and delegates of SIP 2023 and representatives of Synergy Pilipinas. He then watched and attended the pitching and presentation of the delegates of their case solutions on sustainable agriculture.

In the evening, Ambassador Parys attended the HEIs Convention and Gala night. He shared inspirational thoughts and substantial information on the topic, “Opportunities for International Partnerships of HEIs in Belgium and Philippines.”
