a. Re-organize the RCDRRM & CCA and set the direction,
development, coordination, and implementation of
disaster risk reduction programs and projects in the
University;
b. Coordinate with all the campuses/ colleges in the
preparation and implementation of disaster risk reduction
measures, plan and conduct capability enhancement
activities for disaster risk reduction for faculty members,
non-teaching personnel and students;
c. Identify researchable areas in DRRM and CCA that can
be undertaken by faculty members and MSDRM students;
d. Design strategies in establishing partnership/ linkages
with government agencies and civil societies in the
country and abroad for possible collaborative disaster risk
reduction and climate change adaptation/mitigation
projects and calamities;
e. Perform other duties and functions as delegated by the
University President.
