The Center is a multifunctional university unit primarily responding to the mandate of research, extension, and instruction in the fields of climate and disaster risks management and at the same time provide an oversight function to ensure that the university level disaster preparedness, prevention, mitigation and response systems are effectively and efficiently implemented.
