This course is designed to enhance student awareness and appreciation of the Philippine literature with the integration of history and its relation to the different literary works made in a particular period. Reading selections are provided as means to deepen one’s understanding of Philippine culture, traditions, practices, and beliefs, to enhance one’s critical thinking skills and to imbibe the values integrated in the selections to better appreciate the literary heritage and take pride being a Filipino. |

This course aims to further open the student’s minds and hearts to the beauty of literature in relation to their person hood and the society around them. Filipino 1 – Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Filipino |
Ang Filipino 1 ay isang metalingguwistikang pag-aaral ng wikang Filipino. Nakatuon ito sa estruktura, gamit, katangian at kahalagaan ng wikang Filipino sa akademikong larangan. Sa lapit ng multidisiplinaryo at paraang interaktibo, inaasahang matutuloy at matatalakay ang mga pangunahing kaalaman sa wikang ito. Malilinang dito ang mga kasanayan sa paggamit ng wikang Filipino tungo sa lalong mataassa komunikasyon sa kritikal napagdidiskurso. |

General psychology isa course that covers the study of mind, along with a such aspects of mind asperception, cognition, thinking, emotion, and behavior. This course designed togive the student a basic understanding of the psychology of human behavior through basics of psychology and a general overview of it other branches/fields. The student will be given exposure to the concepts,terminology, principles, and theories that comprise an introductory course in psychology. Topics covered are to synthesize the board range of knowledge about psychology, to encourage critical thinking and self-analysis, develop intra and interpersonal skills and to convey a multicultural approach that respects human diversity and individuals differences. |
