Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) held a University Management Review today, November 25, 2024, at the Alvaro Rabina Hall, Auditorium. The review aims to prepare the university’s four campuses for the upcoming ISO Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) Audit scheduled for December 2024.
Dr. Emerson L. Bergonio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the significance of the review in maintaining high standards of quality and excellence. “This gathering is a crucial step in our ongoing commitment to provide excellent service to our stakeholders and comply with ISO standards,” he said.
The review focused on various aspects of the university’s Integrated Management System (IMS), including the status of actions from previous management reviews; the status of non-conformities and corrective actions, changes in external and internal issues relevant to the IMS, performance and effectiveness of the IMS, adequacy of resources, and the effectiveness of actions taken to address risks and opportunities.
Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, Vice President for Administration and Finance, urged all participants to actively contribute to upholding the university’s standards and ensuring its success. “What matters most is our present actions, as they will shape the entire CBSUA’s future,” he stated.
The hybrid meeting was attended by top management, campus administrators, internal auditors, document controllers, and process owners from all four CBSUA campuses: Calabanga, Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot.
