CBSUA PILI-CRCYC, VOLUNTEERS AID 222 STS KRISTINE VICTIMS

The CBSUA Pili-College Red Cross Youth Council, alongside Gryphon, DRROU, and other volunteers, under the guidance of the Resilience Center and the university packed and distributed relief goods and hot meals to stranded students and employees of CBSUA Pili affected by STS Kristine on October 24-28, 2024. RCY volunteers were first aiders, catering to patients with wound care treatment and blood pressure monitoring.

RCYC continues to volunteer alongside the Philippine Red Cross – Camarines Sur Chapter, other Chapters, and the National Headquarters. All volunteers are working together to help in the operations; from rapid assessments to welfare services, WASH program, clearing of affected areas, distribution of relief goods, and providing hot meals in the hardest-hit communities of Camarines Sur.
