Taking the lead as a change-maker, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture has secured a 1001+ spot in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2023. CBSUA, the only state university in the Bicol region to qualify for this ranking, emerged as the 16th top-performing university in the Philippines, showcasing its dedication to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The university’s relentless efforts in tackling SDG 1 (No poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) have garnered recognition and praise from the global community. 

In the THE Impact Rankings 2024, CBSUA has once again positioned itself among the world’s top universities, ranking 1001-1500 overall. Particularly, the university ranked:

•  301-400 for SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), reflecting our commitment to eradicating poverty and hunger in our local and global communities.

•  601-800 for SDG 5 (Gender Equality), demonstrating our dedication to promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls.

•  801-1000 for SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), emphasizing our collaborative efforts to build partnerships and foster global sustainability.
