Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) concluded its week-long 15th Charter Anniversary celebration with a grand gala on October 11, 2024, at Villa Caceres Hotel in Naga City. The event, themed “A Milestone of Progress: Celebrating Innovation and Transformation,” recognized the university’s achievements and honored its dedicated employees.
Dressed in elegant Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana attire, CBSUA top management, faculty, and non-teaching staff paraded in a show of unity and pride. President Alberto N. Naperi, impressed by the overwhelming attendance during the events, addressed the gathering, highlighting the university’s significant milestones and expressing gratitude to the CBSUA community for their unwavering support.
“I consider this an extra special night for CBSUA,” President Naperi stated. “We will recognize your efforts through awarding personnel, assess our plans for the future, and celebrate our pride as a higher learning institution, not only in the Bicol Region but also nationally and internationally. This would not be possible without your dedication and support.”
Thirty-nine (39) employees were awarded for their long-standing service, with recognition given for 10, 15, 25, 30, and 40 years of dedication. Twelve (12) retirees were also honored for their invaluable contributions to CBSUA.
The highlight of the event was the announcement of the Presidential Awards, which recognized outstanding individuals in the categories of leadership, academic excellence, and service excellence.
