CBSUA KICKS OFF 15TH CHARTER ANNIVERSARY WITH VIBRANT FESTIVITIES

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) marked a significant milestone, as it commemorates its 15th Charter Anniversary. The theme, “A Milestone of Progress: Celebrating Innovation and Transformation,” set the tone for a week-long celebration filled with excitement and camaraderie.

The festivities kicked off on October 7, 2024, with a vibrant motorcade, showcasing colorful floats designed by students, faculty, and staff from the Calabanga, Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot campuses. The parade highlighted the unique programs offered by each campus, reflecting CBSUA’s commitment to diverse educational opportunities.

CBSUA President Alberto N. Naperi emphasized the importance of this anniversary, stating, “Our 15th Charter Anniversary is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire community. It’s a milestone that reflects our institution’s growth and transformation.”

The campus grounds buzzed with energy as faculty and staff from all campuses competed in a lively TikTok Dance Competition. Calabanga Campus emerged victorious, capturing the hearts of the audience with their energetic performance.

The student cheerleading competition added another layer of excitement to the festivities. Sipocot Campus clinched the championship with their impressive routine, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.

Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario, Campus Administrator and host of the celebration, emphasized the significance of this milestone. “This anniversary is not just a celebration of our achievements but also a reflection of our collective commitment to progress, innovation, and transformation. Fifteen years ago, CBSUA was founded with a vision to foster learning, creativity, and community engagement. Today, we celebrate the realization of that vision.”

From October 7 to 11, 2024, the week-long celebration will feature a variety of activities sponsored by different university clusters, including trade fairs, quiz bees, awards and recognitions, and free services for CBSUA employees. These aim to provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to connect, learn, and celebrate the university’s accomplishments.
