To establish cooperation on the enhancement of opportunities in higher education, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) and the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) on October 7, 2024, at 3F Board Room, CBSUA, Pili, Camarines Suras to start their academic cooperation.

The MOU Signing was led by CBSUA President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi and OMSC President Dr. Elbert C. Edaniol. The activity was also witnessed by the key officials of CBSUA, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Emerson L. Bergonio, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, the Vice President for Business, External Linkages, Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba, the Director of Regional Apiculture Center, Ma’am Lilia Pasiona on behalf of the Vice President of Research and Innovation, Dr. Ramona Isabel S. Ramirez and the Director for External Linkages and International Affairs of OMSC, Dr. Harold Q. Bautista.

This partnership was made possible through the Institutional Linkages and Special Projects (ILSPO), headed by Director Dr. Christopher B. Dacer, and the Director of International Relations Office, Dr. Cherry Love Montales under the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs.

CBSUA and OMSC shall have academic cooperation which includes the exchange of faculty members, staff, and students, joint research activities, teaching, and internationalization programs, partnership in seminars, meetings, and academic conferences, exchange of academic materials and other information, special short-term academic programs, and other activities based on mutual interest.
