On August 25, 2023, the College of Economics and Management (CEM) conducted its Orientation Seminar and Acquaintance Party at the CBSUA Atrium with the theme “Creating Memories for a New Beginning.”
The aforementioned event geared the CEM students in developing self-awareness and camaraderie among colleagues as they transition into a new chapter of their lives. The activity also served as an opportunity for students to develop social ties and interpersonal skills with the members of the Junior Agribusiness Society (JABS) and League of Tourism Students (LTS) who spearheaded the event.
Furthermore, the event was an opportunity for the CEM family to make the new faculty members, newly designated Dean, Dr. Philip N. Talay, and freshmen welcomed. The night was graced by the former Dean, Dr. Gladys G. Rosales, Chairpersons Prof. Sonny S. Corporal and Prof. Enrique Antonio F. Villamor, Prof. Ma. Teresa B. Lirag, Prof. Hanilyn A. Hidalgo, Prof. Ma. Francia Asuncion D. Nuñez, Prof. Rene N. Rabacal, Prof. Lilibeth B. Saavedra, Prof. Frilliane Mae N. Bicaldo, Prof. Ardolf B. Arce, Prof. Jemirah Blessing B. Cantoria, Mr. Emilio O. Ibarbia, Mr. Phillip Mari P. Figura, and Mr. Eric N. Sumayao, Jr., with the Administrative Support Staff, Ms. Maricar B. Ruiz, Mr. Jon Joshua C. Estolonio, and Mr. Mark Gilbert C. Abilay.
