The Stateans are once again recognized on the international stage as the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Pili Campus Chorale won the Silver Award in the 7th Singapore International Chorale Festival-Folklore Category on July 20, 2023, at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert Hall in Singapore.
After months of training, the CBSUA Chorale delivered its performance on July 18, Tuesday at the mentioned venue featuring Filipino folk musical pieces. Mr. Cris Caryl Yu, their trainor, conducted the performance and proudly received the award on behalf of the team.
Joining the delegation is Dr. Leopoldo R. Transona, Jr., the Director of the Sentro ng Wika, Kultura, at Sining (SWKS).
This feat is a testament to Stateans’ exceptional talents and how the University enlivens the promotion of Filipino Culture in the world.
