Delegates of the SIP 2023, the CBSUA Faculty and Staff, the local government of Pasacao, and other stakeholders participated in a mangrove tree planting activity on February 4, 2023 in Sitio Mainit, Balogo, Pasacao.

The event was organized as part of the Sustainable Environmental Advocacy for Community Engagement and Development (SEA for CED) program. Approximately 6,000 mangrove propagules were planted in the area.

After the successful mangrove tree planting, the participants took a tour of the famous Daruanak Rock Form before participating in a coastal clean-up activity along the shoreline of Brgy. Balogo in the afternoon.

This event is a testament to the idea that small actions can have a big impact on the environment.|𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘊𝘉𝘚𝘜𝘈 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘰 𝘗𝘐𝘖; 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘳. 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘈𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰 & 𝘔𝘳. 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘎𝘢𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘭
