In support of Republic Act No. 8353, also known as “The Anti-Rape Law of 1997,” the College of Economics and Management steered a hybrid seminar, “Thinking Safe during these Dangerous Times,” on November 10, 2022, at the CBSUA Social Hall.
The event had the advocacy to assist rape victims in the litigation of their cases and bring awareness to CBSUA studentry. The police officers from the Camarines Sur Provincial Police Office were invited as the primary resource speakers of the activity. PSSG. Mary Ann Parado emphasized the forms of rape and tips on crime prevention.
The said affair was partaken by the students from the different colleges.
