As CBSUA gears toward further strengthening its mandate and establishing linkages to Local Government Units, the Office of the Vice President for External and Business Affairs Cluster conducted a consultative engagement with the Local Government Unit of Libmanan through the Office of the Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Jerry R. Tendero, on October 7, 2022.
The said meeting aimed to identify areas for a possible collaborative partnership with LGU Libmanan, and present the draft of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CBSUA and LGU Libmanan. Vice Mayor Tendero expressed its willingness to collaborate with the University, especially in taro, mushroom, and stingless bee production.
Present during the meeting are the officials of LGU Libmanan, the Director of ILSPO of the University, Dr. Christopher Dacer, and the Director of RGO, Dr. Maria Francia Nuñez. The representatives of LGU Libmanan are set to visit the school this October.
