Upon passing the EMS Special Audit by TÜV Rheinland last July 11, 2022, the four campuses of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture received the ISO Certificate for ISO 14001:2015 Standard.
Environmental dimensions of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are all directly addressed by the ISO 14001:2015 Standard. The certifying body had considered several of the university’s programs, projects, and activities that support the conservation of the environment as noteworthy. These include the installation of solar panel for streetlights, beach clean-up activities, mangrove planting, water body program, no single-use plastics, tree planting activities and others.
