The CBSUA Pasacao Campus, led by Prof. Helen Abilay, launched an Orientation ceremony of the project “Enhancing Community Livelihood, Education, Culture, and Tradition towards Sustainable Agriculture in Bicol Region,” last Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Brgy. San Ramon, Pamplona, Camarines Sur.
As part of the launching, an orientation was conducted to the selected partner-beneficiaries of the project from the Brgy. San Vicente and San Ramon, Pamplona regarding the schedules of capacity training. The CBSUA desires to assist in the establishment of a learning farm within the barangays through the dissemination of various technology of the university identified by the participants.
The municipality of Pamplona was represented by Hon. Ronaldo F. Franco, the Municipal Mayor, Mr. Danilo SA. Bordon, the Municipal Agriculturist, Hon. Alfredo Gabarda, Punong Barangay of San Ramon and Hon. Elsa Cancaida, Punong Barangay of San Vicente.
The CBSUA officials headed by the President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, together with the University Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ramona Isabel Ramirez, and ESD Director Prof. Vladimir R. Foronda, also show their support to the project’s launching.
Prof. Ramon C. Monte, the Extension Coordinator of the Pasacao Campus, also shows his support to the activity and was assisted by the CBSUA Pasacao Campus Extension team and the Local Government Unit of Pasacao.
