The Quality Assurance Office contributes to the attainment of the University’s vision to become an agricultural research university of global standards. As such, the QA Office is in-charge of coordinating activities relative to the accreditation of the institution and the different programs offered by the university, ISO certification, and Institutional Sustainability Assessment.
The ISO journey of the university started with the certification of ISO 9001:2008 in 2018 for the Pili Campus, followed by the certification of ISO 9001:2015 in 2019, while the first surveillance audit for Pili campus was in 2020. The Calabanga, Sipocot and Pasacao campuses had their ISO certification audit in 2020.
For 2021, the university will be subjected for an integrated management system certification for all the four (4) campuses with a recertification audit for ISO 9001:2015 and a certification audit for ISO 14001:2015 standards. The ISO Roadmap is divided into seven (7) phases, namely: (1) Initialization; (2) Baseline Appraisal; (3) Planning for Environment Management; (4) Development of the EMS; (5) Implementation of the IMS; (6) Monitoring and Improvement; and (7) IMS Certification Audit.
