533 STATEANS NOW LICENSED TEACHERS

Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) continues to demonstrate its commitment to academic excellence, with its four campuses producing a total of 533 newly-licensed professional teachers. This was based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on December 13, 2024.

Exceeding both the elementary and secondary national passing rates of 45.51% and 56.88% respectively, all CBSUA campuses achieved remarkable results in both levels.

In elementary education, the Calabanga campus achieved a perfect 100% passing rate for first-time takers, with an overall performance of 90.91%.

Meanwhile, the Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot campuses recorded 72.27%, 82.50%, and 82.14% passing rates for first-time takers, with overall performances of 68.42%, 76.60%, and 67.57%, respectively

In secondary education, the Calabanga campus maintained its strong performance with a 91.18% passing rate for first-time takers and an overall performance of 79.69%. Meanwhile, the PRC reported that the Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot campuses garnered 67.80%, 80.95%, and 83.54% passing rates for first-time takers, with overall performances of 57.32%, 64.23%, and 75%, respectively.

President Alberto N. Naperi congratulated all the passers and vowed that the university administration, with the support of the entire CBSUA community, will continue to maintain its performance level and uphold its high standards in producing quality educators.
