The orientation was led by Dr. Cherry Love Montales, Director of the International Relations Office, and overseen by Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba Sr., Vice President for Business and External Affairs.

Prof. Camba in his message, highlighted the significance of their upcoming trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where they will attend the ASEAN Universities Exhibition and Forum from February 19-25, 2025.

“This trip is an excellent opportunity for you both to learn, exchange ideas, and contribute to the collective goals of the ASEAN region,” Prof. Camba emphasized, encouraging the students to maximize their experience.

The ASEAN Student Mobility Program promotes collaboration, innovation, and leadership among ASEAN youth while advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It provides a platform for students to connect with peers from across the region, share knowledge, and develop their academic and professional skills.

Mr. Bonto and Mr. Floresca expressed their excitement about the opportunity to represent their university at this prestigious event. They are eager to immerse themselves in a new cultural and educational environment and believe the experience will be invaluable to their future careers. The program allows them and other participating students to gain a deeper understanding of global issues and contribute to ASEAN’s regional development.

This trip marks an important milestone for both students, and they are looking forward to returning with new insights that will benefit their respective fields. The university is proud to support its students and remains committed to the ASEAN Student Mobility Program, recognizing its importance in fostering a more connected and sustainable future.
