The ICEEA 2024 Invitation and Promotion Committee held a meeting on September 11, 2024, to strategize the promotion and invitations for the upcoming International Conference on Education, Environment, and Agriculture (ICEEA).
Presided by Dr. Dariel A. Palmiano, the research director, and Ms. Mae Lustre, the Research Head for Pili Campus, the committee focused on planning to invite and visit both public and private higher education institutions (HEIs), along with DepEd and the Department of Agriculture in Camarines Sur and nearby provinces.
With the goal of increasing both the online and onsite participants, the research directors, deans, faculty researchers, and graduate school students will be encouraged to participate.
During the meeting, five committee members pledged to invite specific schools and agencies. Prof. Mae Lustre will extend the invitations to schools like Pangasinan State University and Cavite State University, while others like Prof. Dick Harence Dela Vega, Prof. Marlene Ramos, Prof. Lea Rose Balcueva, and Mr. Richard Castor will contact universities across the region and beyond.
A formal partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is planned to strengthen ties with invited institutions. This binding agreement will ensure mutual benefit between CBSUA and participating institutions and agencies.
In addition to participation, they will gain visibility as identified partners through logo inclusion and will be eligible for discount on fees.
To expand the promotion of the event, the Public Information Office (PIO) will coordinate with radio stations for radio announcements while the promotion committee will be in charge of disseminating email invitations.
The committee set a timeline, beginning on September 12 for letter preparations followed by visits and email dispersion until September 19.
