The Commission on Audit (COA) conducted its Exit Conference at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) on April 15, 2025, at the University Board Room, marking the culmination of the audit of CBSUA’s operations and financial transactions for Calendar Year 2024.
The Exit Conference served as the final stage of COA’s annual audit process. The Audit Team formally presented its findings, observations, and recommendations to university officials at the meeting, which was attended by representatives from COA, CBSUA executives, and key administrative personnel, ensuring a collaborative discussion of the audit results.
In line with standard COA procedures, the audit team highlighted areas of concern and commended practices that reflect sound financial and operational management. The auditors recommended further improvement to strengthen compliance, transparency, and accountability within the university’s systems.
University officials welcomed the audit results and expressed their commitment to implementing the recommendations provided. CBSUA President Alberto N. Naperi emphasized the university’s dedication to upholding public trust through responsible financial stewardship and continued institutional development.
