The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) hosted distinguished representatives from Taiwan, Sir Ying Jye Huang and Dr. Cheng-Mao Tseng, in a productive meeting held on June 11, 2025, to discuss ongoing and future collaborative efforts in summer classes and internship abroad programs with Taiwan universities.
University President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, together with University International Relations Officer Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales, led the CBSUA team in welcoming the guests and outlining CBSUAโs commitment to expanding international opportunities for its students. The meeting emphasized strengthening partnerships through academic and cultural exchanges, particularly focusing on programs that allow CBSUA students to immerse themselves in Taiwanโs higher education institutions and industries.
Also present were key faculty members and IRO Campus Coordinator, Sir Ramon Monte, Sir Mark David Diaz, and Maโam Mariss Encinares. They discussed preparations for the upcoming Summer Class program in Dayeh University, where selected CBSUA students from Pili, Pasacao, Sipocot, and Calabanga campuses will participate.
The visit is another step in CBSUAโs efforts to connect globally and give more opportunities to its students and faculty.
