CBSUA, UNRAM CONDUCTS ICTP ORIENTATION TO NEW PARTICIPATING COHORT

In its continued pursuit of providing globalized learning opportunities to students through the International Credit Transfer Program (ICTP), the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) through the  International Relations Office (IRO), and its partner institution, Universitas Mataram of Indonesia (UNRAM), recently held an orientation and presentation of participating students and faculty, on March 4, 2025, through the Zoom platform.

The university IRO headed by Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales and campus coordinators, Aiza Cayetano, Mariss Encinaress, and Sherwin Baja supervised the conduct of the activity.

Beginning the session, an overview of the CBSUA-UnRam Credit Transfer Program was discussed by Dr. Ahmad Junaidi. This was immediately followed by the presentation of participating students and faculty from both universities. The participating colleges of CBSUA are the Colleges of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, College of Development Education and College of Arts and Sciences from Pili Campus; College of Education from Pasacao campus; College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education from Calabanga Campus; and College of Education, College of Criminology, College of Technology, College of Industrial Technology from Sipocot Campus. 

Marie Ann P. Saclausa, from CBSUA-Pasacao College of Education, taking BSEd Major in English and a student from UNRAM shared short remarks on the internationalization program.

As a show of support to the program and student participants alike, UNRAM and CBSUA officials delivered messages.

Participants then proceeded to their breakout rooms for their respective course orientations and to address questions.

The university’s commitment to participating in the International Credit Transfer Program (ICTP) is a testament to how it continues to emphasize the internationalization of education to produce globally competitive students.
