The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) participated in the Collaborative Planning with the LGU Libmanan and academic partners for local development, held on February 28, 2024, in Libmanan, Camarines Sur.
This initiative is part of the Innovation, Science, and Technology for Accelerating Regional Technology-based Development (iSTAR) Program, led by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) PSTO-Camarines Sur. The program aims to promote balanced geographical development by strategically investing in science, technology, and innovation (STI).
The CBSUA, represented by the Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ramona Isabel Ramirez, presented agricultural development and coastal resource management plans. These outline potential programs, projects, and areas of expertise within the institution, directly addressing the LGU Libmananโs development goals. CBSUA also assisted in the preparation of LGU Libmananโs Annual Investment Plan.
