Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and Kien Giang University (KGU), Vietnam, have officially sealed a partnership through the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, June 30, 2025, held at the Health Sciences Department, 2nd Floor, Sorsogon State University. Representatives of Kien Giang University was in the Philippines as one of the international co-partners of Sorsogon State University during the Southeast Asian Multidisciplinary Research Expo and Extension Conference (SEAMREEC) 2025, showcasing their commitment to regional academic exchange and research cooperation.
CBSUA was represented by Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales, Director of the University International Relations Office; Dr. Christopher B. Dacer, Director for Institutional Linkages and Special Projects; and Dr. Gladys Rosales, Director of the Resource Generation Office. On behalf of Kien Giang University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cang Nguyen Trung, Vice Rector; Ms. Huyen Vo Xuan, Deputy Head of the Office of Cooperation and Science-Technology; and Ms. Pham, a faculty member of KGU. Following the MOU signing, a collaborative meeting was held to explore potential areas of partnership, including student and faculty mobility, joint research, and shared development programs aligned with both universitiesโ mandates.
The MOU was officially signed by CBSUA President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi (SUC President IV), and Vice President for Business and External Affairs, Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba, Sr., at the CBSUA Office of the President.
