CBSUA EMPOWERS GRADUATES THROUGH 2025 PRE-EMPLOYMENT SEMINAR

In line with its commitment to preparing students for a seamless transition from academic life to the professional world, the Office of Student Affairs and Services – Guidance and Counseling Unit of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) successfully conducted the Pre-employment Seminar (PEOS) 2025 on June 5, 2025. The event, held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Student Atrium, carried the theme “Thriving in Today’s Evolving Workforce Landscape.”

The seminar brought together graduating students from various programs, providing them with essential knowledge, tools, and strategies to navigate the competitive job market. Topics centered on key aspects of professional preparedness, including resume writing, job interviews, applying for government positions, and appropriate workplace attire.

Distinguished resource speakers included Mr. John Kelly Alpapara, Ms. Gladdy Ann Despi-Sarate, Ms. Dana Valiente-Altea, and Dr. Christopher Dacer, representing both CBSUA and the Civil Service Commission. They delivered informative and engaging lectures aimed at equipping students with practical employment-related skills.

The seminar concluded with an uplifting message that urged students to approach the dynamic world of work with confidence and adaptability. The OSAS–Guidance and Counseling Unit, led by Ms. Jessel Anne P.
