The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) responded to a special request from the Municipality of Bula to provide the needed veterinary healthcare services for the communityโs pets in celebration of their 451st Kawayan Festival, on March 31, 2025, at the Municipal Covered Court in Bula, Camarines Sur.
Faculty members and junior clinicians offered veterinary extension services, such as anti-rabies vaccinations, spaying, and castration for dogs and cats. This initiative aimed to promote accessible and integrated veterinary healthcare within the local community.
This successful activity was led by Celestina Esteve, Agricultural Technologist of LGU-Bula; Dr. Clarita Puso-Borela; Dr. Shiloh Grace Perdon; Dr. Marriane B. Baldonado; and Dr. Rochelle F. Arrabis, CVM faculty member.
