To ensure the smooth execution of its sixth installment, the 2025 International Conference on Education, Environment, and Agriculture (ICEEA) committee heads from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) convened on April 28, 2025, at the Farmer’s Training Hall. The meeting was led by Dr. Ramona Isabel Ramirez, Vice President for Research and Innovation and overall chairman, focusing on finalizing logistical arrangements, tasking, and other crucial conference details.
The two-day hybrid international conference, themed “Innovative Solutions for Climate Resilience: Advancing Education, Agriculture, and Environmental Stewardship,” will be hosted at Universitas Warmadewa (UNWAR) in Bali, Indonesia on September 18-19, 2025.
Dr. Ramirez emphasized the conference’s timely focus, stating, “As the impacts of climate change become increasingly evident globally, exploring innovative solutions for community adaptation and resilience is crucial. This year’s theme highlights the vital role of education, sustainable agricultural practices, and environmental stewardship in mitigating climate risks and promoting long-term environmental sustainability.”
Adopting a hybrid format, ICEEA 2025 will offer both in-person and online participation options, allowing delegates to choose their preferred mode of engagement through a virtual conferencing platform.
The conference will feature renowned speakers and leading experts from the Philippines and across the globe. They will participate in plenary sessions to discuss the latest research advancements and technological innovations across sustainable agriculture, environment, education, social sciences, and medicine and health sciences.
As the pioneering initiator of ICEEA, CBSUA will undertake significant responsibilities in ensuring the conference’s academic rigor and logistical efficiency. The event will be spearheaded by the Research Services Division, working in close coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Linkage, the International Relation Office, the Extension Services Division, the Public Information Office (PIO), the ICT Office, and the Budget, Cashier, and Accounting Offices.
Meanwhile, UNWAR will play a crucial role of overseeing key aspects such as technical and visual support, delegate relations management, and other functions together with CBSUA, to ensure the smooth execution of the conference.
In closing, Dr. Ramirez expressed her confidence, stating, “With the collaboration of our partners and your dedication to your respective roles, we will undoubtedly have a successful and seamless conduct of this year’s ICEEA.”
