The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) represented by the Pili Campus College of Development Education Chorale secured 3rd place in the Choreographed Chorale Contest during the 2024 Regional Pre-Service Teacher Education Congress at Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, Albay on October 21, 2024.
Themed โRevitalizing Teacher Education: Making Teaching Profession a First Choiceโ, the Regional Congress gathered Education students from different SUCs, LUCs and private academic institutions as well as education leaders.
Twenty-three CDE students and five faculty members led by the Chairpersons, Assoc. Professors Rey-mark G. Basagre and Karen B. Perez who also served as coach, participated in the said event.
With the arrangement of Andrei Philip Pastrana of the contest piece โKapag Tumibok ang Puso,โ and the training with CBSUA Chorale members, Gian Philippe Pascual and Shanin Ballebar, the CDE Chorale showcased a well-applauded performance during the contest.
The College expressed its gratitude to the President, Dr. Alberto Naperi, CA, Dr. Allan Del Rosario, Dean, Dr. Melinda Pan and SDF thru OSAS and Student Council for the support extended to the participants.
