CAMALIG BANK FOUNDATION PROVIDES LAPTOPS TO CBSUA SCHOLARS

The Camalig Bank Foundation (CBF) distributed new laptop computers to seven student scholars from the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) today, February 20, 2025, at the university’s QA Hub.

Ms. Jessa Mae P. Alzaga, CBF Project Coordinator, led the distribution, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to supporting the scholars’ academic success. The laptops are intended to provide students with essential tools for online learning and research.

For years now, CBF has consistently supported a number of CBSUA students. Ms. Alzaga also emphasized the importance of education and technology in empowering students, reinforcing CBF’s dedication to supporting academic excellence and bringing a transformative impact to the community.

“In behalf of my co-scholars, I would like to thank the Camalig Bank Foundation for the opportunity and support we’re receiving for our education,” said Mark, one of the scholars of CBF.

Prof. Jessel Anne P. Rodriguez, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, and Ms. Imari Meryl Roxas, Scholarship Unit Coordinator, also attended the event. Their involvement was crucial in facilitating the collaboration and ensuring the program’s success.

CBF’s ongoing support for its scholars not only helps reduce the burden of school expenses but also encourages higher education among students in the region. The event was seen as a major step in fostering a stronger academic environment for both CBSUA and the local community.
