The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) is actively preparing for its upcoming ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Internal Audit and Recertification Audit by conducting a two-day Integrated Management System Training Workshop.
Organized by the Quality Assurance Office, the workshop is being held simultaneously across all four CBSUA campuses—Calabanga, Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot—from February 25-26, 2025. This initiative convenes university process owners, ISO document controllers, and internal auditors to ensure audit-ready ISO documents, minimize potential findings, and achieve successful recertification.
Day one of the training focuses on the ISO 14001 clauses, with in-depth discussions on topics such as the context of the organization, leadership, planning, support, operation, emergency preparedness and response, performance evaluation, and improvement.
Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, CBSUA President, underscored the significance of the training, stating, “While this process may seem familiar, we are reiterating key principles to ensure alignment across all processes. Remember, our goal is to realize our vision of a Green CBSUA.”
On the second day, participants will engage in rigorous writing workshops, including the development and submission of the 2025 Aspect Impact Register.
This comprehensive training workshop demonstrates the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards in its environmental management system.
