Mr. Jovie C. Floresca and Mr. Jimwel H. Bonto, delegates from the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), have arrived in Kuala Lumpur for the ASEAN Universities Exhibition and Forum (AEF) 2025. They were welcomed by Mr. Novie Tajuddin, Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
The two delegates will participate in a variety of activities during the event, which runs from February 11-25, 2025, both online and in person. These activities include public speaking seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and forums.
As part of the AEF, Mr. Floresca and Mr. Bonto will also undertake familiarization visits to their respective host universities. Mr. Floresca will be hosted by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in Kajang, while Mr. Bonto will visit the Asia Pacific University (APU) in Kuala Lumpur.
The AEF is a key component of the ASEAN Student Mobility Program that promotes collaboration, innovation, and leadership among ASEAN youth while advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It provides a platform for students to address pressing regional issues, share innovative solutions, and engage in meaningful exchanges that can contribute to shaping the future of Southeast Asia.
